The "Eye of tigre" is a semi-precious stone formed with crocidolite, wrapped in quartz, which gives it that color so special. It is thus part of the variety of quartzs microcristallins. Opaque and hard stone, a hardness of 7 and a density of between 2.64 and 2.71, its shimmering color can range from yellow brown to red brown.

This variety of stones on the surface have a small stroke of yellow light due to its fibrous structure that evokes the eye of the tigre which it takes its name.
