The fluorite is the most important natural fluoride. It is presented in many seams often associated with the rocks with granitic composition and always fascinated the man from his richness and its colors.
This mineral received several names (Spatum vitreum, Calx fluorata…) before carrying the name of fluorite, or fluorite. The commercial and industrial term is “Spathfluor”…
