Yellow Wulfenit of Morocco
Wulfenit can be of color yellow, orange, gray or colourless, and the presence of chromium can give him a beautiful red color.
It can be associated crystal, cerusite, pyromorphite, smithsonite, the hydrozincite and calcite.
It owes its name to the Austrian mineralogist Von Wulfen who discovered it in 1785. Wulfenite is the result of the deterioration of crystal.
One especially finds it in the arid or semi climates arid, by cashing in the sedimentary sequences. In Morocco, we can finds some in the area of the Eastern region.
